Lenovo K3 Note Unboxing

Lenovo have become one of the worlds biggest phone makers even though they don't put much energy into expansion with their own brand, mainly selling devices. But maybe that's also due to the fact that Lenovo phones aren't quite the most beloved devices outside of China. One of the main reasons for this in our opinion is the pricing. Lenovo smartphones often seem kinda overpriced, but that apparently is about to change.

Recently, Lenovo started to create pretty attractive devices at comparably low prices and one of those is the Lenovo K3 Note. This is a budget phablet which is sold for about $150 right now yet offers quite some decent specs you wouldn't expect at such a price. First of all, it comes with the powerful Mediatek MT6752 chipset that is based on 8 ARM Cortex A53 64-bit cores clocked at 1.7GHz and a Mali T760 MP2 GPU, which drives a 5.5-inch screen with FHD resolution. In addition to that the phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable memory.

Two of the highlights the Lenovo K3 Note has to offer are the 13 mega pixel rear camera which comes with a non-specified sensor yet performs outstandingly well even in night-mode along a dual LED flash, plus a large 3,000mAh battery. The operating system running on this beauty is Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Lenovo Vibe UI on top, which is the best optimized Lollipop ROM we've seen on a Mediatek-powered device to date.

The first impressions are very positive which includes performance, the display and the internal speaker, which thanks to MaxxAudio offers a more than decent audio quality. Now the Lenovo K3 Note will be able to show what it is capable off during 1 – 2 weeks of intensive testing. Stay tuned for our full review!
