Meizu M2 Note Launched

Meizu M2 Note Launched

Meizu yesterday launched the Meizu M2 Note, a re-make of the M1 Note. Yep, a strange decision, not only due to the fact that the M1 Note isn't available for too long now, but also due to the fact that the M2 Note is less powerful than the M1 Note. It comes with the Mediatek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit chipset which is the World Mode LTE flavor of the MT6752. This chipset operates at a lower clock of only 1.3GHz and comes with a slower GPU (tripple cluster Mali T720). The remaining specs are very similar to the M1 except the home button which now is a physical button called "mBack". This button can both be pressed and touched, which will result in different actions being completed. How exactly this concept works is yet to be explained to us. In China the Meizu M2 Note is shipping now with a price tag of $130 for the 16GB version and $160 for the 32GB version, Internationale resellers do not offer the phone yet.
