Ulefone has announced today that at least 20,000 people have subscribed to the company's Be Touch 2 Snap-up Event with more expected to sign up as the event date draws closer.
As we've previously reported, the snap-up event will have Ulefone offer 10,000 units of the Be Touch 2 on sale for only USD179.99. The event itself officially starts at 17:00 (GMT+8) on July 14 and will involve 28 different online stores including 18 B2C shops and 10 AliExpress retailers. According to Ulefone, the stores involved joined the event as a way to thank their customers for their support.
With around 20,000 subscribers, an estimated 1 out of 2 people will be able to grab one of the 10,000 Be Touch 2 units that Ulefone will be making available during the snap-up event. But it is expected that the number of subscribers will still go up before the event itself starts.
The Ulefone Be Touch 2 is the company's latest flagship smartphone that features a 5.5-inch IPS LED display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that's protected by a panel of 2.5D arc Corning Gorillas Glass 3, a MTK6752 64-bit octa-core processor from MediaTek, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 3,050mAh battery. It's also equipped with a home button fingerprint scanner, a 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
