ZTE has officially unveiled their latest flagship smartphone, the ZTE Axon, specifically designed in the for the US market.
The ZTE Axon features a full metal body design, a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen with a display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 2GHz 64-bit octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 3000mAh battery.
The Axon is also equipped with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel camera coupled with a 2-megapixel camera. The Axon's dual camera system uses the same technology found on HTC's One (M8). It also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE support, and will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
ZTE is selling the Axon unlocked for US$449.98 (excluding tax) and will be available in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver, and Phthalo Blue. The new device is already open for pre-order directly from ZTE which will also include a free TPU case and JBL earbuds. Additionally, it will come with a two-year warranty.
