Xiaomi has officially announced today that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Mi 4c, will be released on September 22. The successor to the Mi 4, the Mi 4c will bring with it a slew of new features, an updated look, and improved hardware, among other things.
The first change that the Mi 4c will introduce is the company's new smartphone packaging. Instead of the old brown recycled cardboard packaging, the Mi 4c will now come in an orange cardboard box. The body of the Mi 4c is also making a color change as it will now come in a variety of color options similar to the Redmi instead of the previous white color option.
As for its specifications, the Mi 4c will feature a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, 2GB/3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, and a 3000mAh battery. It will also be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a USB Type-C connector. It will run Android 5.1.1 with Xiaomi's own MIUI 7 interface on top.
As previously mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi 4c will be released starting September 22 at a price of only 1,499 Yuan which continues Xiaomi's trademark of high-end flagship smartphones at incredibly affordable prices.
