UMI has officially announced a new smartphone called the eMax Mini which, according to the company, is positioned somewhere in between its mid-range and high-end devices but at a very affordable price of only $139.99.
The UMI eMax Mini features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which is composed of eight Cortex-A53 cores that are clocked at 1.5GHz. It also features an Adreno 405 graphics chip, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, support for expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card, and a 5-inch OGS (one glass solution) full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 443ppi and a 95-percent NTSC Sharp display panel.
The eMax Mini also supports two SIM cards at dual standby, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE at 1800, 2100, and 800MHz frequencies. It's also equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3050mAh battery which, according to the company, gives the eMax Mini a standby battery life of up to 7-10 days.
As previously mentioned, the UMI eMax Mini is priced at only $139.99, which is a very good price considering the device's specifications. The company did not announce when the new device will become available but it should be available in the next few weeks.
