Cubot S600 Will Feature Fingerprint Scanner, Fast Charging, and MediaTek MT6735A

Cubot is one of the few brands left that have yet to release a smartphone that features a fingerprint scanner but it looks like that will change soon as details of the company's upcoming S600 have been released online revealing that the upcoming device will indeed feature a fingerprint sensor.

cubot-s600-fingerprint-sensor-01 According to the information released today, the S600 will feature a fingerprint sensor powered by a Silead GSL6163MSB2 press fingerprint chip which supports 13Mbps SPI connect and a frame ratio of up to 80 frames/s. The company also revealed that it will feature the biggest fingerprint touch area so far in the market measuring 12mm.

The S600 will also feature a 5-inch display protected by a panel of 2.5D curved glass, a MediaTek MT6735A 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It will also be equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2700mAh battery that supports fast charging.

The final release date of the Cubot S600 is still unknown but sources claim that it will be priced at around $120.
