AMD has just showed the Zen core that delivers 40 percent more IPC from the current generation.
Lisa pointed out that this is a Summit ridge is the new core, Zen is alive, Zen is on track and the video played was rendered on Zen.

Lisa confirmed that samples to priority customers in a few weeks while more widely sampling in a few weeks.
There will be more Zen parts, High performance graphics to come later. The Zen will scale from desktop, to low power, to notebook, server and embedded.

After Bristol ridge integrated comes the Zen version with probably better graphics, next generation with higher performance graphics for sure.
