Meizu are about to launch their next new flagship, the Meizu MX5. Now the specs are no secret anymore and now partially got confirmed again by another appearance of the MX5 over at Geekbench. Meizu apparently are currently working on fine-tuning performance of the OS since we've seen several new scores over on the Geekbench Database yesterday. Those scores look very promising since the Meizu MX5 managed to reach 5,352 points in the multicore test and 965 points in the single cores test. Overall thats a better result than the Snapdragon 810 which doesn't come as a surprise since the MT6795 doesn't need to clock down since it doesn't generate much heat. Apparently the Meizu MX5 will make use of the 2.3GHz version of the MT6795 clocked down to 2.2GHz along with 3GB of RAM.
The Meizu MX5 will be launched on June 30 and it won't take long until we get a review sample since we already got in touch with Meizu. Stay tuned!
