UMi Iron Specs & Hands-On

Today is a big day for UMi since today the UMi Iron will be unveiled. Or better: It already has been unveiled even before UMi did so. Our friends over at gizmochina.com had the opportunity to get an exclusive first look onto the device, and it's looking promising. They posted a video on YouTube in which they give you a first look at the next UMi flagship phone. Apparently the device is entirely made from stainless steel with a design that got some inspiration from the HTC M9 but isn't a real clone. Anyway, it looks very tough and high quality, so this could be the best UMi phone to date if they don't screw something up once again.

The insides unfortunately are not the high-end specs that some expected, yet still do not look too bad. The SoC used inside the UMi Iron is a MT6753 with world mode LTE and there are 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch FHD screen, a 13 mega pixel Sony IMX214 camera, a 3,250mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop as operating system. Doesn't sound too bad and we hope to receive a review sample very soon.
